Daymond John Laces Up
Daymond John is an American businessman, investor, television personality, author, motivational speaker and one busy guy. The “people’s” Shark on Shark Tank, Daymond is passionate about entrepreneurship and has helped veterans build successful companies. We recently caught up with Daymond on the set of Shark Tank and asked him to trade his dress shoes for a pair of combat boots that give back.
Why do you believe in the mission of Boot Campaign?
I love that the Boot Campaign is giving back to and supporting veterans who have put their lives in the line to keep us safe. Our veterans put their lives on the line to keep us safe. Now, it’s our turn to support them and help them in whatever way we can.
Tell us why supporting the military is important to you?
I have been an entrepreneur all my life and it is because of our veterans and those who have made the commitment to serve their country that I have had that luxury. I can live my American dream because of our military.
What does it mean to you to #livelacedup and lace up a pair of combat boots?
It means a lot to me to lace up my combat boots knowing that I am supporting those who have sacrificed so much. It makes me proud to #livelacedup.
What does patriotism mean to you?
For me, patriotism means supporting my fellow Americans. I am proud to live in this amazing country that allows all of us the freedom to follow our dreams and achieve our goals. And that is all thanks to our brave veterans and active military members.
