We caught up with Air Force veteran, former Dallas Cowboy and three-time SuperBowl champion Chad Hennings as he laced up his boots to continue his service to his fellow veterans and their families. 

Tell us why supporting the military community is important to you, as a veteran yourself.  

It is important as a society to serve those who have served us.

What does it mean to you to lace up a pair of combat boots in support of our troops? 

Lacing up familiar boots is a reminder to me that there are men and women everyday who are putting themselves willingly into harm’s way to support our nation.

What does patriotism mean to you? 

Patriotism, to me, is being a part of something greater than self.

Why do you believe in the mission of Boot Campaign? 

It is necessary to provide resources and a road map for our veterans to help heal the invisible wounds of war.
