What a Gift Does

/

When you give to Boot Campaign, you may ask yourself: what does my gift really do? Will it make a difference?

On average, more than 88 cents of every dollar spent supports our mission-driven programs. We want you to be confident that as much of your donation as possible goes right to our work to unite Americans to honor and restore the lives of Veterans and military families through individualized care.

In fact, from the start, Boot Campaign has remained true to financial transparency. We are independently audited each and every year and proceeds from boots and gear sales, events, generous donations and corporate sponsorships allow Boot Campaign to maximize efficiency and productivity, keeping operational expenses low so the majority of funds spent support our programs.

When you give to Boot Campaign, your donation changes lives.

It supports a Veteran who is struggling with posttraumatic stress disorder, suffering from flashbacks or anxiety or suicidal ideation. It allows a Veteran to find help and go through treatment to not only survive, but thrive. Your gift is allowing our team of experts to sit down with a Veteran and say “tell us your story, how can we help?” and then providing a totally customized plan that meets their needs.

It goes to a military family who is facing financial hardship or a health crisis and needs some hope during a dark time. Your gift allows us to show up and bring them support like gift cards for groceries or gas or gifts and necessities to meet their unique needs.

In short, your gift is delivered in a variety of forms with the same message: thank you. Gratitude is expressed not in general, but in an individualized manner. And that’s the heart of what we do: individualized care. Your gift isn’t just going to put someone through a program that everyone else is experiencing.

When you give to Boot Campaign, you are giving to men and women who have given the most to keep our country safe and free. You are allowing them to come back home to their families with a lighter load. You are making a way for them to sleep soundly and be present for their loved ones. And you’re even carving a path forward that allows them to find joy again–and then go and offer it to others.

Give today and bring a brighter future for tomorrow.
