Military Appreciation Month Recap 2026
Each May, Americans have the opportunity to celebrate and express gratitude for the men and women who serve our country and their families during Military Appreciation Month.
This year, our partners and supporters laced up and showed up!
In West Texas, the Basin Burnout Foundation served up delicious BBQ and music for the community in support of Veteran organizations like Boot Campaign. Ret. Navy SEAL Aaron Kendle ran 31 kilometers for 31 days straight in honor of the 31 lives lost in Extortion 17. During the Ruck for the Fallen in Quitman, Texas, dozens ran and walked in honor of those lost in combat. Recoup Personal Training in Costa Mesa, California hosted their 15th annual Push-ups for Charity event and patriots in Fort Worth came together for our inaugural Boot Bash to raise money in honor of our mission and the Veterans and military families we serve.
And still more supporters sent messages of encouragement to Veterans saying YOU MATTER and others hosted gatherings in their neighborhoods across the country.
Thanks to generous donations from grateful Americans, we raised funds to support our individualized programs. Because of the generosity of Kubota, each donation received was doubled!
Military appreciation isn’t just for May. Let’s keep this momentum going throughout the year. Get involved today to honor and restore the lives of Veterans and military families because it really does take a village.
Many thanks to our sponsors and supporters: Basin Burnout Foundation, Cavender’s, GRIT, Kahn Mechanical, Kraft Heinz Veteran Employee Resource Group, Kubota, Latitude Cigars, Meat Therapy, Pernod Ricard Veteran Employee Resource Group, Pushups for Charity, Costa Mesa and Recoup Fitness, and Wood County Ruck.
