Kahn Mechanical rallies and represents for Veterans
We recently chatted with Charlotte Kahn, President of Kahn Mechanical, to hear a bit about why their company joined Boot Campaign in support of Veterans and military families.
Boot Campaign: How have you been involved in Boot Campaign’s mission and why is it important to you?
Charlotte Kahn: Our Kahn team has been involved with Boot Campaign for several years by volunteering to wrap gifts through Boot Campaign’s Seasons of Service Program. We love being hands on to help Veterans and military families who are experiencing a challenging time.
Being connected to a non-profit such as Boot Campaign is an honor and a privilege. I love that a large percentage of donated dollars goes directly back to supporting Veterans and military families. I can’t think of a better organization to have our company name tied to!
Boot Campaign: What does patriotism mean to you?
Charlotte: Patriotism is love and loyalty to my country. I believe we can show this love in many ways; from displaying a flag, voting, and the ultimate showing of serving in the military.
Boot Campaign: Why was it important for Kahn Mechanical to join our Military Appreciation month and get your employees involved?
Charlotte: My dad was a Marine who served in Vietnam and two of my uncles served in WWII. I have seen first hand the challenges that those who serve struggle with when they return home.
Boot Campaign: How is Kahn Mechanical getting involved?
Charlotte: We are participating in Military Appreciation Month this May by wearing RED on Fridays to show our appreciation to those we are deployed and protecting our freedoms. We purchased shirts from Boot Campaign that supported their mission, and worked with them to add our company logo on the sleeve. We also share Boot Campaign’s mission and inspire them to get more involved with this amazing organization!
