PBADD’s Basin Burnout Supports Veterans and Military Families
When the Midland, Texas, community says they are going to support those who serve(d), they mean it! Our friends at the Permian Basin Association of Directional Drilling (PBADD) are in their 7th year hosting its annual Basin Burnout Cook-off & Music Festival – a dynamic fundraising event that combines the best of the oil and gas industry’s community spirit with a heartfelt mission to support U.S. military Veterans.
This year’s event was held on April 6 at Centennial Park in downtown Midland. Over 30 cook teams were ready to serve up tasty bites to attendees, including our friend Jason Wilson of Meat Therapy.
Even better, the musical headliner for the event was none other than Scott Stapp, the voice of Creed and a longtime Boot Campaign supporter!
In 2024, PBADD, through the Basin Burnout, raised more than $160,000 for Veteran-based charities, including Boot Campaign! The PBADD team joined us in their YOU MATTER tees to present a check for $82,000 to further our mission.
Thank you to the PBADD team and entire Midland community for your outpouring of support for those we serve who are in need of care and treatment. We couldn’t do it without great partners and supporters like you!
If you like to have a good time while doing good for others, join us at one of our upcoming events across the country! Visit bootcampaign.org/events to learn more.
