Garrison Brothers Distillery Bottles Up Support in September
Our friends at Garrison Brothers Distillery are at it again to support our mission and those we serve!
Now in its second year, the award-winning distillery based out of Hye, Texas, is celebrating Bourbon Heritage Month by focusing on America’s favorite classic cocktail–the Old Fashioned.
A social media initiative is encouraging consumers to document their take on an Old Fashioned using Garrison Brothers Bourbon as part of the nationwide “Hye Fashioned Takeover.” With each photo shared, Garrison Brothers is committing a $5 donation to Boot Campaign and a chance to win a pretty awesome prize package!
In addition to the Hye Fashioned Takeover, Garrison Brothers is selling two, one-of-a-kind offerings available for purchase online in September that also benefit our mission. One is a kit to make an Old Fashioned at home and the other, a special Single Barrel Bourbon that was hand selected by three Boot Campaign Veterans.
Not only does their team know a few things about bourbon, they know a few things about service too. Garrison Brothers Master Distiller Donnis Todd joined the U.S. Air Force out of high school in 1998.
When it comes to supporting fellow servicemembers, Donnis shares, “It is important to remember the sacrifices that every military member made when they laced up. The YOU MATTER message helps to encourage that positive conversation.”
