Inaugural Boot Bash Fort Worth a Texas-sized Success!
Boot Bash has been a tradition at Boot Campaign for years, and we decided to bring the patriotic gathering to Fort Worth! Friends new and old gathered together in community to show their support for those who serve(d)!
Guests gathered for cocktail hour and had the opportunity to purchase custom created hats by DNA Hat Company and Cavender’s. As they perused the silent auction, music by the talented Jolie Holliday and Sonny Burgess filled the room.
“As soon as I stepped into the room that night at River Ranch Stockyards, I was blown away by the attention to detail, the gift bags provided by Partner Industrial, and the great group of patriots who joined us for fun and fundraising for a cause I’m so passionate about,” said Randy Cupp, Boot Campaign board member and owner of RE Cupp Construction.
A delicious dinner from Bonnell’s was served, drinks were shared and guests heard from U.S. Marine and Fox News host Johnny Joey Jones. As he shared his own story of tragedy and triumph, he reminded everyone present that we all have a role to play in making our country a better place.
Following Joey’s inspiring message, a very active, exciting and engaging live auction brought both friendly competition, quality items and once-in-a-lifetime opportunities. The night ended with phenomenal music by Randy Brown. It was a lone-star, five-star evening of connection, community and a whole lot of teamwork.
“To witness such authentic dedication to our nation’s best was truly inspiring. The support demonstrated throughout the evening reflected the very finest qualities of our community and the enduring values that bind us together as Americans,” said Retired U.S. Army Brigadier General David Foley, who attended the event. “My wife, Claire, and I were genuinely appreciative to be part of such an amazing cause and to witness firsthand an organization whose mission resonates so deeply — both within the community we are now proud to call home and with the values of service, sacrifice, and commitment that define our nation.”
