Transitioning to Success
We had the honor of extending a helping hand to Jarrett, an Army veteran transitioning to civilian life. Things had been pretty steady for his family, until unexpected car repairs and the initial cost of braces for his son derailed his finances. With so many unplanned expenses, Jarrett needed a boost to get back on track.
Boot Campaign’s Military Recovery Fund was able to provide a grant to help Jarrett with his monthly living expenses to ease the transition out of the military. Soon, he’ll begin school to further his new civilian life, and will be able to support his family financially. We’re honored to be a part of his road to success! Jarrett shared: “I am humbly requesting assistance due to the expenses accrued during my transition out of the military. I do not live luxuriously and don’t request anything to live close to it. I just appreciate anything you can do to help fill my time with my education and a decent place to settle. Thank you.”
