The Response: A little girl’s letter to a Navy Seal
Back in early June we received a letter from a little girl asking us to send it to a Navy SEAL protecting our Freedoms. We were so amazed that a 1st grader was so Patriotic, inquisitive, and adorable that we knew…. it warranted some sort of response.
Some of you may remember when we posted the letter on our social media networks! The responses were electric and EVERYONE wanted to know… WHO we sent it to, WHAT was the response, and more!
Here is the original letter:
We really weren’t sure what we were going to do with it at first but after reading all the responses on social media….. We decided to send it to our friend, Boot Campaign Ambassador, and former Navy SEAL, Travis “Fish” Fishburn. Fish has spent a lot of time overseas as a Navy SEAL and has a great sense of humor so I thought he would love this!
I emailed the letter to Fish and asked him if he would like to answer this sweet letter and he very enthusiastically responded with, “YES of course!” We just received Fish’s response and we couldn’t wait to share it with you!

This little girl and her letter has put a HUGE smile on our faces. Huge THANKS to Fish for taking the time to answer our little friend’s letter. We feel so thankful to have such a wonderful group of service men and women around us who can lend a hand when these little fun things come up!
