Santa Boots 2020 Impact Report
2020 has been full of uncertainty but Boot Campaign sure hasn’t slowed down this holiday season. For the sixth consecutive year Boot Campaign spread extra holiday cheer to veteran and active duty military families around the world who have experienced a particularly challenging year.
Each deserving family is personally shopped for; each gift wrapped with love and every box specially shipped to make Christmas bright for those who serve(d). Thanks to the generous support of Americans, patriotic partners and volunteers, Boot Campaign wrapped, packed, and hand delivered more than 180 packages to military families from coast to coast!
Our work this Christmas wouldn’t have been possible without the Jordan Spieth Family Foundation, The Lumistella Company, Grit Productions, Foster & Fathom, Veterans United Foundation, Allegiance Flag Supply, Troll Co. Clothing, The Kynect Foundation, Cavender’s, Benchmark Mortgage, JB Mechanical, Inc., UPS, and R.E. Cupp Construction.
Here’s what Boot Campaign’s holiday gifts mean to some of the families we have served:
“What a blessing this morning!!! I was greeted with love and a load of gifts from Mrs. Sara of Colorado Springs and all Santa’s elves of this organization. I was beyond blown away for the kind words, thoughts, perfectly hand-wrapped gifts, and all the efforts of love that went into choosing and picking each and every gift. My family and I are beyond grateful. And to everyone who donated now and in the past, THANK YOU!!! These gifts were the light at the end of the tunnel for us as this year has been challenging. This organization is truly are a blessing! May each of you be Merry, Blessed, and Healthy this holiday season!!” Veteran, Colorado
“We received our package today. I struggle to put into words how overwhelmed by kindness and generosity we were. Our Family has never reached out or received anything like this, it seems we have always been helping others. Please pass along a great big Thank You from our family, this was definitely the highlight of our 2020!” Army Veteran, New York
“I am still in shock, and just blown away right now. And I cannot stop crying. It has been so, so hard to try to keep up with everything and manage this transition and keep the girls healthy and happy. I can actually just exhale! I really can’t believe it, to have a place for my girls to sleep together has been on my mind constantly, and just trying to put my pennies together, it’s been hard. It feels like I can’t catch up. I am so grateful, I am so shocked, and I am so happy I am really so happy, we will actually have bedroom furniture!!! Such a massive extension of grace, comfort and love that you’ve gifted us.” Veteran, New Jersey
