Pushups for Charity Week 1
Way to get down last week, friends! There were Pushups for Charity events from San Jose to New York and all points in between. Early tallies show you did more than 50,000 pushups and raised more than $300,000 for our nation’s heroes – WHOA! The Boot Campaign would like to give a shout out to these incredibly strong men and women for their efforts to make a difference:
PUC rock stars 5/17 – 5/23:
May 17, Nashville, Tenn.
Held at the Nashville Sounds minor league baseball stadium, approximately 100 people, many of them employees of Churchill Mortgage, gathered to drop and give us more than 13,000 Pushups for Charity! It was also the site of an amazing Heroes into Homeowners grant sponsored by Churchill, which is always completely amazing and inspiring in itself. Many thanks to the Sounds, Churchill Mortgage and Boot Campaign Hero Ambassador Mark Little for making this an event to remember!
May 17, Fox & Friends, New York, NY
Saturday morning in midtown Manhattan was anything but ordinary when Hero Ambassador Joey Jones, founder Sean Greeley and Brooklyn Bad Ass Fitness paid a visit to the Fox & Friends studio to promote Pushups for Charity. Host Rick Reichmuth spoke with Joey and Sean while Brooklyn Bad Ass Fitness members demonstrated pushups in the background. Stay tuned for Final Push in Washington D.C. June 28 when Rick Reichmuth joins us for his 90 seconds of Pushups for Charity!
