PRESTON SUMMERVILLE DONATES EP PROCEEDS TO THE BOOT CAMPAIGN
Georgia native gives back to military service members
March 4, 2015 (NASHVILLE, Tenn.) – Country music singer/songwriter Preston Summerville announced today that for the next six days, proceeds from digital downloads of his EP “One More Time” will be donated to the Boot Campaign, a national nonprofit focused on military support. Both iTunes and Amazon offer the download for fans of Summerville’s “unique blend of heartfelt songwriting and in-your-face, heart-pounding music.”
Having watched friends and family fight for our country his entire life, Summerville understands the hardships military service members face to protect American freedom. “They give the ultimate sacrifice for all of us, and if it wasn’t for them, I wouldn’t be able to do what I do,” he explains. “Anything I can do to support our servicemen and women that fight for people like you and me, I’ll do so without hesitation.”
Summerville teamed up with the Boot Campaign late last year to help further its mission to give back to military families. In addition to posing for a branded “boot shoot” and joining the celebrated list of musicians who “get their boots on,” Summerville goes above and beyond, typically wearing combat boots and Boot Campaign apparel on-stage to spread the message. He understands the need to talk about the challenges facing servicemen and women and advocate for their support, vowing to use his platform to help change lives.
From now until Monday, March 9, 2015, 100% of proceeds from digital downloads of “One More Time” will be donated to the Boot Campaign. Download your copy from Amazon or iTunes and do your part to help America’s defenders. Learn more at prestonsummerville.com and bootcampaign.com.
