Austin, TX (March 11, 2013)—Matt McCloskey joins the line up of performers for the Boot Campaign’s “Friends With Benefits” Party During SXSW 2013. Cody Canada, Sunny Sweeney, Aaron Watson, Sons of Fathers, Six Market Blvd, Midnight River Choir, The Rankin Twins, Matt McCloskey and other surprise guests will keep the party going late into the night. KOKE FM and Wild Turkey present the Boot Campaign’s “Friends With Benefits” party during SXSW on Tuesday, March 12th at Peckerheads on Austin’s famed 6th street. “Friends With Benefits” will directly benefit the Boot Campaign’s programs that are caring for military personnel, past and present, healing from a variety of physical and emotional combat wounds.
Doors open at 7:00pm with your “Friends With Benefits” hosts Rita Ballou of Rawhide and Velvet, and KOKE FM’s Eric Raines and Drew Bennett. The party will feature live music on two stages, raffle of autographed memorabilia, and more! Wild Turkey and Shiner Beers will be the featured beverages of the night, with $1 per drink (Wild Turkey and Shiner Beer) donated to the Boot Campaign.
