Giving Back For The Good of Others

/

The Mountain Primal Meat Co. believes in helping organizations that strive to support the people they respect most in this world – the veterans of our beloved United States military.

John Maas Sr., the founder and CEO of the sustainable beef and pork enterprise, was especially inspired by WWII veterans in his family and those veterans of more recent wars that he has met — and employed — to give back.

This week, John and I were guests on the Drinkin’ Bros Podcast with hosts Ross Patterson and Dan Hollaway to talk about Boot Campaign’s mission and the partnership we’ve shared with Mountain Primal since 2017

“By injecting yourself into the lives of veterans, in any capacity, you can start to find opportunities to help further. That’s why I chose to support Boot Campaign. It is a duty for people to help here on the homefront. Supporting organizations like Boot Campaign should be seen as an honorable service to our country and veterans.”

On air, we were honored to receive a $100,000 check from John and his team at Mountain Primal — the largest check to date the Drinkin’ Bros have seen exchange hands during the podcast. Since the start of the year, more and more veterans have reached out to Boot Campaign for help. Demand for our services has increased more than 65% since January, continuing to climb from the 300% increase we saw in 2020. Donations like this  from true partners like Mountain Primal allow us to serve the deserving men and women who have applied for our Health & Wellness program and continue our mission of providing lasting, long-term impact.
