From the time the Boot Campaign was created, the Boot Girls knew that Honor & Gratitude would always remain at the core of their efforts to Promote Patriotism amongst Americans. But the Boot Girls did more than just “tell” America to show thanks, they really “walked the walk” (in their boots, of course!) and conducted their own gestures of thanks for heroes across America!
Faces of OUR Freedom began quite simply as a weekly photo series housed on our social media sites. It has now become a key program of the Boot Campaign that continues to grow!
Faces of our Freedom or (FOOF!) is a program administered by the Boot Campaign for the Promotion of Patriotism. The program is conducted to show Honor & Gratitude to our military heroes and their families by creating unforgettable, community-based experiences.
Boot Campaign intentionally chooses communities for the “FOOF” experience with the intent of awakening and inspiring citizens in that area to develop their own community-based support efforts for all military heroes like those participating in the experience in the future.
For FOOF participants, Boot Campaign provides activities and opportunities designed to leave participants with a true sense of honor for their particular service and sacrifice and of course, take home the priceless lasting memories and relationships that offer them continued support that lasts well beyond the completion of the experience itself.
This week, the Boot Campaign launches its first major FOOF experience – FOOF Hollywood – centered around the 3rd Annual Boot Ride and Rally. For one week, nine wounded service members (all Purple Heart Recipients), plus their special guests are being treated to a week full of Hollywood adventure, group bonding, outdoor adventure, and much more!
