Celebrity Supporters of the week: Micky and the Motorcars!
Micky and the Motorcars first joined the Boot Campaign by getting their BOOTS on in 2010! Over the years their support for the men and women of our military and Boot Campaign has continued! They even lent us their song “Naive” for our “When They Come Back, We Give Back” Boot Campaign CD! We feel very fortunate to continue working with them spreading the Boot Campaign message of giving back to those that have given so much to us.
Over the past few weeks Micky and the Motorcars have been raising money on KickStarter to record a new studio album for 2014. Their goal was $35,000 and they exceeded that by raising over $45,000! Learn more about their new album here.
In early 2013, Boot Campaign had a unique opportunity to attend MusicFest in Steamboat, CO and while there we were able to snap new photos of our friends! With the recent lineup changes we’ll need some more new ones soon! But, we know we’ll be seeing these guys pretty quick though! They have a TON of shows coming up! If they are coming to a town near you…. we highly suggest you give them a shot! You will LOVE them just as much as we do.
