“Battlefield of the Mind” Documentary Screening Planned for Los Angeles




Documentary Screening to be held April 24th at Los Angeles’ Whisky A Go Go


Los Angeles, CA (March 27, 2013) – The release of BATTLEFIELD OF THE MIND, a film called by Artist Direct  “the most powerful documentary of the decade,” will be celebrated in grand style with an event entitled BATTLEFIELD OF THE MIND – LIVE! Featuring many of the stars of the film’s soundtrack, the proceeds of the event on April 24, 2013 will benefit the Boot Campaign, a national 501c3 nonprofit dedicated to showing tangible appreciation for our active military, raising awareness of the challenges they face upon return and supporting their transition home. Main sponsor Chill.com will bring this event to the Whisky A Go Go in Los Angeles, CA.

EYE EMPIRE features Corey Lowery (Stuck Mojo/Stereomud/Dark New Day) and B.C. Kochmit (Switched) and Ryan Bennett (Texas Hippie Coalition) as well as military veteran, Donald ‘DC’ Carpenter (Submersed) who says of his band’s involvement in the project  “I have always been sensitive to issues that face our troops Stateside & abroad.  When our good friend Fran mentioned that he & Aaron (Lewis of Staind) were going to be making this film & that he would like for us to be involved with the music, we were very humbled.”  Their latest album, IMPACT, is available via their store on http://eyeempire.storenvy.com/ now.
