Wrapping Up Our May Seasons of Service Program Efforts
With the expansion of our Seasons of Service Program we were honored to provide 121 military and Veteran family members with specially-curated gifts in May for Military Appreciation Month.
Patriots from coast to coast contributed by donating needs and wishes for the 33 families who are currently experiencing a hardship – whether that be a catastrophic event, deployment of a parent, or are caring for the health of a wounded, injured or ill family member.
On Tuesday, May 14, we gathered over 100 volunteers to help wrap and box up each family’s gifts at the warehouse location of our longtime partners’ Grit Productions & Expositions. From corporate partners who have joined us to wrap for multiple years and seasons to new groups of friends and colleagues, our volunteers made sure each gift was wrapped with love. We even had a guest appearance by Dallas Cowboys football player, Tyler Smith!
As the gift boxes continue to be hand-delivered to the families, we had to pass along their gratitude for all who supported our Seasons of Service Program and thus impacted their lives during a difficult time.
“Thank you so much for supporting our family during this challenging time for our son. He has been through a lot and sometimes his spirits run a little low so I’m sure this will most definitely brighten his day!”
“We received the package today, and to say we are extremely grateful is the understatement of the year! You have truly blessed us with these gifts, and we want to express our gratitude to you and the team!”
“Wow, I can’t even thank you guys enough! My son and I are so appreciative and are so thankful and blessed during this hard time.”
“I want to express my sincere gratitude for all the gifts! My wife and I were truly surprised to receive all the items the Boot Campaign sent to our family. We are incredibly grateful for this assistance, which has been a tremendous help to us financially while my wife is recovering.”
