Serving up “Plates of Purpose” in The Woodlands

/

Award-winning Chef Austin Simmons opened the doors of his iconic restaurant TRIS for an exclusive dinner to support our mission and spread awareness for those we serve at Boot Campaign!

Dubbed “Plates of Purpose,” the Woodlands gathering took place on Monday, September 9th with 65 patriots from all across the Greater Houston area. In addition to the mouth-watering three-course meal by Chef Austin and his team at TRIS, guests enjoyed a signature cocktail, courtesy of Garrison Brothers Distillery.

“The team and I are so grateful for the freedom and opportunities that our Veterans have fought for,” shared Chef Austin. “Hosting Boot Campaign and its supporters was a special day for us! I was so touched by the boots; lacing them up meant a lot to me.”

The evening included guest speakers co-owner of Garrison Brothers Distillery Charlie Garrison, as well as Retired U.S. Navy SEAL Veteran Alex Oliver. Attendees also had the opportunity to participate in a live auction and donate to provide life-changing services for the Veterans we serve.
