White Birch Armory Celebrates Freedom with July 4th Weekend Event

/

Our team was honored to meet members of the staff of White Birch Armory out of Dover, New Hampshire while attending SHOT Show in January. Connecting on both our mission, message and partnership with Kimber Manufacturing, we were honored when their team asked Boot Campaign to be included as beneficiary of their annual Machine Gun Shoot in July!

“We were drawn to the Boot Campaign for many reasons,” shared the team at White Birch Armory. “As a service-disabled veteran owned small business, with many members of our team being active or retired military, we especially love that Boot Campaign is one of the 4% of VSOs that focus on the Health and Wellness of veterans. Looking at each veteran as a whole person, mind, and body. Utilizing a holistic approach and tailoring treatments to target the most important needs of the individual first, is something we at White Birch Armory are honored to be supporters of.”

Their second annual Machine Gun Shoot kicked off Fourth of July weekend on Friday, July 1 at their newly appointed National Shooting Sports Foundation 5-Star Indoor Shooting Range. The event began at 5pm with the start of the machine gun shoot ticket sales and barbecue, cooked by White Birch Armory’s Caliber Café. They raffled off a brand-new Kimber Boot Campaign Hero II Custom that served as eye candy throughout the entire event. Customers were very excited for the chance at taking home a brand-new pistol that held such significance.

Since the event was on a Friday, their team also designed a custom R.E.D. (Remember Everyone Deployed) t-shirt that was co-branded with the Boot Campaign logo and all proceeds went to our mission!

“The R.E.D. shirt movement has taken off nationwide, encouraging people to wear red shirts on Fridays in support of our veterans. The t-shirts were a great way to unify everyone and create excitement, not only about the event, but about all the incredible life-changing efforts Boot Campaign does for veterans and their families.”

The evening wrapped up with an outstanding patriotic firework display by Hells Gate Fireworks, a veteran-owned and operated local business. Approximately 200 guests visited White Birch Armory throughout the evening. Guests could choose from nine different machine guns, many of which are typically on display in the shop and were put to use just for the event. The 1960’s RPD was among the most popular, along with a 1919, MG42 and M240B. For some people, it was their very first time shooting a firearm!

Thank you to the team at White Birch Armory for sharing our mission to their community of patriots and veterans in Dover through such a neat event. We are grateful for the impact that your support will have on the veterans and military families we serve through our individualized programs!
