Virginia Beach, Virginia

Join us this Thursday, August 16th!

We are counting on you to support a great cause!

We am currently assisting in the efforts to help raise funds for a dear friend, Ricky Raley a US Army Veteran. Ricky was in the Indiana Army National Guard from 2004 until 2010. After his service he came back with a Purple Heart for a TBI and then did one year tour. In 2009, six months and 17 days after returning from Iraq. Ricky was involved in a near fatal truck accident leaving him paralyzed from the waist down and was told he would never walk again.

Nearly 10 years since his accident Ricky, applied for Boot Campaign’s health and wellness programmed kick-started his journey to improved mental and physical capability. Ricky has been working hard with an old team guy, Ollie at his local gym here in Virginia Beach and it’s been nothing short of incredible. Nine years after his life changing car accident, Ricky a paralyzed US Army Veteran is hand cycling from New York City to Pinellas Park, Florida. His journey starts August 13, 2018 and he will be riding his hand cycle more than 1,500 miles to raise $150,000 for Boot Campaign.

We would like for you to join us August 16th for our fundraiser event! We would very much appreciate any donation you can give to help us so we can raise money for Ricky’s Raley Road Trip and Boot Campaign. Buckshot will be rocking the party at 7pm! Come early show some love and lets come together for Ricky Raley and show him how CP Shuckers supports their community!

ABOUT BOOT CAMPAIGN’S HEALTH AND WELLNESS PROGRAM:

Each participant is connected to crucial services according to individual need. Treatment and training programs include scientifically validated protocols for traumatic brain injury (TBI), post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), chronic pain, self-medication and insomnia. Depending on the services needed, the estimated cost can reach up to $35,000 per participant. Raley’s goal is to support up to five veterans through Boot Campaign’s whole person – brain and body – approach to health and well-being.
