The Southwestern Golf Association (SWGA) conducts one major amateur golf tournament each year that attracts some of the best amateurs throughout the world. The first tournament was held in 1915 and has produced many champions who went on to have exceptional careers as professional golfers.

Throughout the years, the events have been played at several courses in the Southwestern U.S. Since 2013, it has been held at Desert Mountain Club in Scottsdale, Arizona; one of the most prestigious golf communities in the world.

This year will be the 103rd annual tournament and will be held at Desert Mountain Club again.

Revenue is derived from player entry fees, sponsorships and contributions. Attendance by spectators is free and there is ample parking. Remaining revenue after expenses will be subject to being contributed to Boot Campaign.
